Description

A vessel of light, memory, and devotion.
Carved by Oaxacan artist José Cruz Sanz, this hand-engraved jícara mezcalera features the radiant cempasúchil flower, the sacred marigold of remembrance. Each natural gourd from the Ciria tree is engraved with precision using gubias of varying sharpness, then smoothed and accented with acrylic hues that echo the flower’s golden brilliance.

Perfect for mezcal ceremonies or as an heirloom keepsake, each piece carries the essence of Oaxacan craftsmanship — rooted in ritual, heart, and heritage.

Handmade from nature’s gourds — expect slight variations in form, texture, and design that make every piece truly one-of-a-kind.
